Bought a GSM SIM card on Black Friday? This update is for you

The Ting GSM activation credits we promised in our Black Friday promotions are coming soon. Just not as soon as we’d like.

During Black Friday, we offered up some great deals on some great phones. We also offered a $50 credit to new customers purchasing a GSM SIM card during the promotion period which started on Black Friday, November 27 and that ended on November 30 at 11:59pm ET). The deal was, activate before December 7, 2015 and we’d apply the $50 credits starting today.

Unfortunately, we’ve hit a bit of a snag. The USPS is a bit slower than usual getting SIM cards out to people. So, to ensure no one misses out because of factors outside of their (or our) control, we’re extending the activation period and pushing the credit issue date a bit, to December 16, 2015, to accommodate.

The details

• You must have purchased your Ting GSM SIM during the promotion period which began on Black Friday and ended at 11:59pm ET on November 30.
  
• Activate your Ting GSM SIM card as soon as you receive it. Activation must be completed by Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:59pm ET to be eligible.
  
• $50 activation credits will be applied on Wednesday, December 16
